Heating energy production in 2009 reached the level of 14,877.6 thousand GCal which equaled 97.3% of the plan and exceeded the 2008 level by 2.9%.
Deviation from planned levels is explained by the fact that the Company’s production branches have been worked by order of the System operator with fixed electric and heat loading. Exceeding of planned levels on electric energy production has been marked at the Krasnoyarsk CHP (by 6.8%) and the Abakan CHP (by 9.9%). Planned heat production level has been exceeded at the Krasnoyarsk CHP (by 9.8%), the Nazarovo GRES (by 2.2%), and the Abakan CHP (by 4.9%).
Main reason of reduction in electric energy production amount in 2009 compared with the previous year shall be explained by general decline in electric energy consumption by the regional industrial enterprises under the conditions of the financial and economic crisis. Moreover, the company has been working within the frameworks of minimum loading implementing the order of the System Operator over the first half-year prior to the accident at the Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP.
At the same time, the Kansk CHP has underlined increase in electric energy production by 8% compared with the year 2008. It shall be connected with putting into operation of a new 12 MWT turbine in September 2009. Heating energy production at the Kansk CHP has increased as well by 7.8% in comparison with the year 2008.
Increase of heating energy production by the company compared with 2008 shall be connected with lowering of external air temperature. Average monthly air temperature in Krasnoyarsk city was equal to -13.5 °С over the 2008 winter months compared with -16.4°С in 2009. Correspondingly, in Abakan city the temperature levels were 15.7°С and -20.3°С°С.
Increase of heating energy production due to the 2008 level has been noted at the Krasnoyarsk CHP-4 (by 11.8%), the Krasnoyarsk CHP-1 (by 0.27%), the Krasnoyarsk CHP-2 (by 2.5%), the Nazarovo GRES (by 1.3%), the Minusinsk CHP (by 3%), the Abakan CHP (by 1.7%), and the Krasnoyarsk CHP-3 (by 5.8%).
