Power Engineers of Abakan TPP Exceed the Electric Generation and Heat Target of 2009

The production of the electric power in 2009 accounted for 1,462,578 thousand kWh. Though the previous record achievement of 2008 was not exceeded, this result was the second in accordance with the amount since the moment of Abakan TPP putting into operation. Abakan power engineers managed considerably to recover the lack of power supply in the region occurred after the Failure at the Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP. The results in the basic sphere of activity are also considerable: the plan of supplies of heat was 4.86 per cent exceeded. The collectors of Abakan TPP released to the consumers 1,600.514 thousand Gcal of heat power.
High level of the readiness of the technical personnel promotes the achievement of high industrial results of the station technical personnel readiness and meeting of the agreements of the safety and operation of the equipment. The considerable part of the success is the quality and timeliness of carrying out of the repair works during the preparation to the heating season. Past year Abakan TPP carried out the capital construction of turbo-generator of TPF-110/120-130 with the restoration of rotor of the medium pressure in the factory conditions and the installation of the boilers of PSV-500 in the peak boiler station of 144 Gcal/hour capacity, they carried out the planned works directed to the substitution of the pipes at the separate sites of the bulk pipe line.
