Dmitry Orlov appointed the head of JSC INTER RAO UES retail business

JSC INTER RAO UES established the new business unit to implement the new group-wide electiricy sales model focused on strategic development at the parent company level, cost management, and stronger accountabilty of sales companies for their operational results.

Dmitry Orlov was born in 1973. He got a degree in technical systems management and automation from Ural State Technical University in 1995, and a degree in information systems in economics also from Ural State Technical University in 1996. Dmitry came to the energy industry in 2001. He was with JSC Permenergo between 2001 and 2004. Between 2004 and 2005, he was the General Manager of the energy sales subsidiary of Permenergo. Upon the reorganization of this subsidiary into Perm Enegy Sales company he first served as its first deputy GM, and since 2008 as its General Manager.
