Vladimir Berezovsky team at Taldinskaya-Zapadnaya-1 colliery run by SUEK-Kuzbass has won two mln tonnes of coal since the year start

The stoping team led by Kuzbass Hero Vladimir I. Berezovsky at Taldinskaya-Zapadnaya-1 Colliery run by SUEK-Kuzbass (under the director Mikhail G. Lupiy and the section supervisor Sergei D. Musokhranov) wins its 2,000,000th tonne of coal since the year start.

The team is the first to have achieved such a result across the operations of SUEK, Kuzbass and the entire coal industry of Russia.

All coal has been extracted from longwall No. 67-09 being worked since February 2013. The face is equipped with 174 upgraded roof-supports by DBT (Germany) and the state-of-the-art coal cutting and hauling machinery including a long wall conveyor, a load handler, a crusher, and the high-performance shearer 7LS6S (JOY).

Vladimir Berezovsky team holds the current All-Russia record in winning coal from a single face in a month: in March 2013, the team produced 1,007,000 tonnes of coal.
