As LUKOIL Overseas President, Andrey Kuzyaev, stated on March 29, making a report at general meeting of Company’s corporate center staff. In his speech he told about the main results of Holding activity in 2012. Thus production of commercial hydrocarbons grew as compared with 2011, mostly due to the development of gas production in Uzbekistan.
Speaking about implementation of large scale investment projects in Uzbekistan A. Kuzyaev noted that last year the largest field of the block, Djarkuduk – Yangi Kizilcha, reached planned production level of 1 bln. cubic meters of natural gas per year.
In December final investment decision was made with respect to the next stage of Gissar project development, including start-up of Djarkuduk gas complex processing facility and commissioning of new gas condensate fields, Adamtash and Gumbulak.
Gas production plan was considerably overfulfilled at Khauzak-Shady field due to stimulation of production. Mail goal of the projects development is commissioning of North Shady block (Khauzak-Shady field) and Kuvachi – Alat field (Kandym block), scheduled for 2014.
In September 2012 cumulative gas production under LUKOIL projects in Uzbekistan made 15 bln. cubic meters.
