Turboatom closed in the production order for Ekibastuz TPP-1

Next the equipment will be dismantled, it will pass audit, conservation and will be sent to the plant.

At power unit No 2 Ekibastuz TPP-1 (Kazakhstan) is implemented the modernization of the turbine K-500-240-2 with capacity of 500 MW. In accordance with the contract "Turboatom" put a turbine with capacity of 540 MW, which will be installed on the existing foundation. As a result of the reconstruction the capacity of unit will increase to 40 MW, the service life will be extended for 25 - 30 years. Commissioning of power unit is scheduled for 2013.

Specialists of the company will also carry out supervision of installation works, preparing for the start-up and participation in the starting-up and adjustment.
