In the presence of the customer are held balancing of axial-radial runner and coupling of runner with turbine shaft. The outcome of work was signed record of acceptance - all controlled parameters are satisfied with requirements.
Coupling is that to the top of the runner is mounted shaft and on the machine with high accuracy and cleanliness of processing performed common (from one installation) processing of holes impeller in the shaft and for subsequent installation into the holes close fitting sleeves and bolts.
This procedure is performed in order to ensure secure attachment of the runner to the shaft, eliminating the possibility of displacement of the runner axis relative to the shaft, for transmitting of torque from the runner through the turbine shaft to the generator shaft.
The operation, performed under the conditions of the plant and not to HPSPP significantly reduces the cycle of operation during the erection of equipment on the plant.
Runner diameter of 7.3 m, height 2.8 m, shaft - length, 8.8 m, 3.2 m diameter, each detail weighing more than 100 tons.
Shipment of equipment is scheduled for July.
The maximum capacity of the unit - 390 MW in turbine mode and 420 MW in pumping mode. The uniqueness of these hydro turbines is that they operate in "pump-turbine" mode and allow to use accumulated in night time for hydro power for manufacture power energy during peak loads to the grid (voltage schedules of consumption.)
Completion for the supply of equipment is scheduled for 2013.
