In July the Czech-based MSA made the first shipment of valves for the Greek DESFA, the operator of the gas network of Greece. The order totals EUR 470 thousand. According to the contract the Greek operator will get a total of 48 ball valves, dia. 4“ – 30“, class 600 and 900.
Rimera's Czech-based plant will supply its products to benefit the construction of the second portion of a 175 km long high-pressure gas pipeline to link the towns of Ag. Theodori and Megalopolis. The pipeline will transport the first gas in 2014.
«DESFA is a new client for MSA, as earlier we did not make valves for them. We shipped the first 30 dia. 4“ ball valves for the Greek gas network in July. The second portion of 18 ball valves will be delivered this September,» says Vladimir Kononov, MSA Executive Director.
