Under the final tests the acceptance certificate is signed that all controlled parameters correspond to the requirements which are accepted by the customer.
OJSC "Turboatom" has replaced LPC keeping foundation and rotor of IPC. In the process of modernization in the first low pressure flow steps were carried out with capped disk and only fifth step was modernized with installation of blades with dimensions of 1030 mm. The quantity of steps in each low pressure flow is kept the former (3х5 steps) all steps in the second and third flow are new. The weld-forged rotor is applied to LPC of the second and third flow.
Increasing of effectiveness and reliability of flow part of LPC of the second and third flows is reached due to application of diaphragms with high-economical profiles of guide blades and also advanced moving blades of all steps with integral band shelves. Besides, it is applied optimized steam inlet providing converging unseparated current at the inlet to flow part;
As a result of the modernization the capacity of the unit will increase by 15 MW, thus the specific design heat discharge will decrease by 363 kJ / kWh.
The contract for modernization of the turbine K300-240-2 for the power unit No. 1 of Krivorozhskaya TPP was signed in November, 2012. According to the contract "Turboatom" manufactured LPC for the second and third flow and also supplied a set of fifth step blades for the first low pressure flow. The supply of equipment under this contract will be fully completed in August of the current year.
Krivorozhskaya TPP has installed 10 power units with the capacity of 282 MW with the turbines K-300-240-2 (Art. No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 9, 10) and K-300-240 (the Art. No. 6, 7, 8) manufactured by "Turboatom". Putting into operation of the equipment was carried out in 1965-1973.
