INK-Capital is pleased to announce changes in the shareholders structure

Minority shareholders of CJSC INK-Capital have arrangements which mitigate certain financial risks related to their investment in the Company (see full updated shareholders structure chart here).

First of all, the management of Irkutsk Oil Group extends its appreciation to the EBRD for the long-term and fruitful cooperation and expresses the hopes on the continuing of the mutually beneficial relationship in the future.

Irkutsk Oil welcomes Goldman Sachs International, which is a part of Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., among the shareholders of CJSC “INK-Capital”, and we hope, that the changes of the shareholders structure will help to further support development of Irkutsk Oil Group.

CJSC "INK-Capital" is the holding company of the Group, was established on 17 March 2008. In 2008 the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development purchased the minority stake (8.15%) in CJSC “INK-Capital”.

At the moment, Irkutsk Oil Group hold 19 licenses for geological survey, exploration and production of hydrocarbons in the Irkutsk region and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

European Bank for Reconstruction and Development was founded in 1991. The EBRD is composed of a  multinational staff and in-house Board of Directors representing shareholders (64 countries plus the European Union and European Investment Bank).

The EBRD is a multilateral development bank, using investment as a tool to help build market economies and democracies in 34 countries from central and eastern Europe to central Asia, and also in countries the southern and eastern Mediterranean.

Goldman Sachs International is a part of the Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. - a leading global investment banking, securities and investment management firm that provides a wide range of financial services to a substantial and diversified client base that includes corporations, financial institutions, governments and high-net-worth individuals. A full service office was established in Moscow in 2006, dedicated to providing innovative financial services to Russian and international clients in the country. Goldman Sachs Russia is a member of the Moscow International Financial Centre working group and has agreed with the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and Russian Direct Investment Fund to cooperate in the sphere of development of initiatives aimed at improving the investment image of the Russian Federation in the international arena.
