Alstom Grid will present its solutions at the "Middle Volga’s Grid Development" conference

Representatives of ОАО Rosseti and its subsidiaries and affiliates, the Grid Company of Tatarstan, Alstom Grid, regional energy departments, design institutes and Departments of Power Engineering of Volga Region's state universities will meet for concurrent discussion.

Industry experts will consider and discuss development prospects of Smart Grids and digital substations whose elements are extensively introduced in Russia. The designers of innovative electric equipment will demonstrate up-to-date technologies and potential solutions for efficient implementation of the above projects in the region. In particular, the conference will debate practical issues related to the introduction of smart grid technologies on the basis of 220kV pilot substation Kuznetsk in Penza Region.

A dialogue of power engineers, regional authorities and electric equipment designers is expected to assist further development of joint initiatives and enhance business partner relations between the parties.
