Equipment passed assembly control and delivered to the customer, till the end of September it will be shipped to the plant.
According to the contract signed in July 2011 OJSC "Turboatom" will produce a reconstruction of three Kaplan turbines of rated capacity of 58 MW with the replacement of runners with diameter of 8 m, blades of wicket gate and bearings. As a result of work performed on each unit will increase capacity to 64 MW, efficiency will increase by 4%. Also it will increase extending life and the turnaround time of the equipment.
Terms of delivery of the first turbine - in 2014, the second - in 2015 , the third - in 2016
This is the third turbine of Kremenchug HPP , which modernizes " Turboatom ", in June 2009 after the reconstruction was commissioned the first hydraulic unit, in December 2012 - the second one.
Kremenchug HPP was built on the Dnieper River and it is the third stage of the cascade of hydropower plants on the territory of Ukraine. All 12 turbines, installed on HPP - of OJSC "Turboatom" production, the first hydro unit was put into operation in 1959, the last - in 1960.
