Cogeneration plant is under construction at the Belarusian Gas Processing Plant

This plant as well as the previous facilities (heat power plant at the Belarusian Gas Processing Plant, cogeneration electrotechnical plant at the central site of industrial facilities “Ostashkovichi”, cogeneration electrotechnical plant on the base of oil-gathering station “Davydovka”) will use the local fuel – associated petroleum gas.

New energy-generating plant is designed to ensure additional heat load for gas fractionation plant and to increase raw material processing throughput (broad fraction of light hydrocarbons), to build the plant’s capacities.   

Besides heat production, cogeneration plant will generate electrical energy as well. The plant is to be commissioned at the end of next summer.
