Turboatom manufactured cover of hydro turbine for Dniester HPSPP (Ukraine)

Welding and machining process of turbine cover took almost ten months. Today the equipment delivered to the customer and shipped to the HPSPP.

To the plant the cover will be assembled in ring on the holder and is mounted on the stator of hydraulic machine.

Also in September by the plant were manufactured and shipped shield and servo of ring valve and seal ring with the details of the guide vanes.

In October "Turboatom" will complete the supply of equipment for the Dniester HPSPP No 2.

For the Dniester HPSPS " Turboatom " produces a reversible Francis turbine ORO 170 -B -730 with maximum capacity in turbine mode of 390 MW, in the pump - 420 MW. The uniqueness of the hydraulic units is that they work in the "pump - turbine" mode and allow the use of accumulated at night hydropower for electricity manufacture during peak loads on the network (busy schedules of consumption).
