Rimera's Czech asset MSA is finishing production of a major shipment of pipeline valves for the largest Indonesian gas company PGN (Persuhaan Gas Negara). Valve shipments to Indonesia will fetch upwards of 2 million euros in revenue.
Under the first contract, MSA produced three hundred 1/2“ – 24“ Class 300-600 ball valves for PGN between August and September. The valves will be used in a floating storage and regasification unit construction project in the south of the Indonesian island of Sumatra.
Under the second contract, the Czech plant is finishing shipments of a batch of one hundred 4“ – 24“ Class 300 ball valves. The first two parts of the order were shipped in August-September. Batch shipments will be finalized by the end of October. This order is supervised by DNV, an independent international company that is one of the world's premier validation authorities.
"MSA has been supplying pipeline valves to the Indonesian market for over 8 years. During this time, we have shipped more than 2,500 valves worth upwards of 11 million euros. The valves perform well and therefore enjoy stable demand in Southeast Asia", MSA Executive Director Vladimir Kononov points out.
