The delegation was informed on the company’s activities. Senior Vice President for design at NIAEP Yuri Ivanov told the guests about the company’s history and successful experience in cooperation with the French companies Alstom and Dassault Systems. In particular, he noted that NIAEP jointly with Dassault Systems had developed several essential elements of the lifecycle management technology. These are an equipment accounting and tracing logbook, as well as everything that relates to a facility construction management immediately in the MULTI-D technology: modeling, activity progress charts etc. The Dassault Systems’ unique platform was used to produce a solution, which for the first time allowed merging the technological, design and construction parts in the united NPP information model. In this context special attention was paid to implementation of the technology for lifecycle management of a complex engineering facility, which is based on the unique Multi-D technology developed by NIAEP-ASE.
The guests were also presented on the “Organization of procurement activities and cooperation in frames of international projects implementation.” The presentation dealt with main conditions and parameters of procurement procedures, as well as the electronic catalogue of equipment, which accessible to all potential vendors. During the concluding part, at the work stations, representatives of the French companies were demonstrated the development of an engineering design and building part, and modeling of the NPP construction process, as well as how procurement activities are organized at NIAEP-ASE.
Jean-Pierre Chevènement noted, all French companies who attend the meeting and represent various activity sectors – construction, power generation equipment manufacture, IT products – have a large experience of work in the nuclear industry and are interested in the mutually beneficially cooperation.
