Inter RAO Group Launches Power Generation Unit 4 at Gusinoozyorskaya Thermal Power Plant

This project also included the replacement of the steam turbine and boiler of the fourth power generation unit. This project was carried out by LLC INTER RAO Engineering, a subsidiary of Inter RAO Group.

The new equipment increased the efficiency of the power generation unit up to 38.5% while reducing equivalent fuel consumption to 320 g/kWh.

The launch of rehabilitated Power Generation Unit 4 at Gusinoozyorskaya TPP will dramatically improve the reliability of power supply to consumers in Transbaikal, Republic of Buryatia and Irkutsk region, fueling the regional economy and generating additional demand for coal produced by the regional miners.
