Dzhubginskaya TPP has two 90 MW power generation units, which should be enough to cover more than one fourth of expected peak load during the 2014 Winter Olympics. This power plant is a key component of the local energy system supporting uninterrupted flow of electricity between 110 kV and 220 kV grids to ensure reliable power supply to all regional consumers.
The power plant runs two General Electric LMS 100 gas turbines ensuring high flexibility of the new generation. Dzhubginskaya TPP features state-of-the-art modular design, advanced protection from natural disasters and the latest environmental technologies.
Construction works were completed on schedule, in two and a half years. This development project was managed by LLC Inter RAO Engineering, a member of Inter RAO Group.
