During this time, the Izhevsk-based plant of Rimera delivered 13% more products to Kazakh petroleum companies compared to the same period last year. Contracts for deliveries of reduction gears and mixing units account for much of this upward trend. Izhneftemash has been also shipping more subsurface sucker rod pumps and mud pumps to Kazakhstan (up by 62% and 10%, respectively).
Alnas, Rimera's Almetyevsk-based mechanical engineering plant, also reports growing sales to customers in CIS member states. This year's deliveries to LUKOIL-Uzbekistan have increased by almost twofold compared to the previous round of deliveries (the customer awards contracts through a competitive bidding process once every 2 years). Alnas also boosted exports to Ukraine by almost 30%. In addition to deliveries of standard products (pumps, motors, and protectors), cable extensions have been shipped to Ukrainian customers for the first time.
Other Rimera Group companies also achieved growth in sales to CIS clients. The Czech plant MSA has reported a six-fold year-on-year increase in pipeline valves to Uzbekistan.
In addition to the Russian market, shipments to CIS member states are a high priority for all plants both in the Rimera division and ChTPZ Group. Our exports are used in construction of key petroleum industry facilities, field development, and modernization of existing equipment.
