MSA to Ship Valves to Internal Czech Market

MSA plant, part of Rimera Group, has been awarded a contract to deliver pipeline valves to the Czech company RWE Gas Storage, s.r.o. – the nation’s largest operator of a network of gas storage facilities.
"A total of thirty 3-inch Class 900 ball valves will be supplied during the course of March 2014. The valves will be fitted with pneumatic actuators manufactured by an MSA partner, Niwatec. The products are meant for the Czech Republic's largest underground gas reservoir in the town of Dolni Dunajovice. The project to modernize the gas storage facility that entered service back in 1989 calls for using state-of-the-art equipment", says MSA Management Board Chairman Vladimir Kononov.
Against the backdrop of shipments to 45 countries of the world, the internal market of the Czech Republic is equally important for Rimera's plant. Shipments to Czech petroleum companies over the past decade have exceeded 44 million euros. MSA also has a vibrant business relationship with RWE Transgas, the parent company of RWE Gas Storage.
