Annual report of Rosenergoatom is a prize winner of the international public reporting contest

The contestants were about 6,500 projects of 500 companies from the USA, Canada and other countries.

“Having retained its position in the sectoral contest of annual reports at the last year level, Rosenergoatom, for the first time this year, took part and became a prize winner of the international public reports contest,” Andrey Timonov, Director of the Information and Public Relations Department of Rosenergoatom, commented on the victory. “Since our 2012 report was compiled at the level of world’s leading companies and was granted the highest information disclosure rating “A+” by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), we decided to compete with other communication projects across the world and have been positively appraised for our work. The annual report is a powerful communication tool of interaction with the stakeholders, and we plan to demonstrate transparency of activities and openness for a constructive dialogue with the stakeholders in future,” he said («Rosatom.Ru», 03.12.2013).

By results of the V Public Reporting Contest of Rosatom’s organizations Rosenergoatom took the third place by gaining 73.87 points and was recognized the only winner in the nomination “The Best Level of Information Disclosure on Functioning of Nuclear Facilities.” Fifty three organizations of Rosatom took part in the sectoral public reporting contest. These are large holdings and open-type joint stock companies. Twenty annual reports of the companies were qualified for the third, final stage of the contest.
