Vadim Voevodkin, born in 1969, graduated from Perm State Technical University as a petroleum geologist (1993) and the Academy of the National Economy of the Russian Government with a major in the oil and gas business (2004).
Since 1993 Vadim Voevodkin has held a number of specialist and management positions in the exploration and production divisions of LUKOIL-Permneft. Since 2002 he has been the head of the geological departments of Bitech-Silur (now a division of LUKOIL-Komi in Pechora) and LUKOIL-Perm. Vadim Voevodkin holds a PhD in geology and mineralogy (2006).
His predecessor at this post, Anatoly Katoshin, has been appointed adviser to the president of LUKOIL Overseas.
