Permenergo has built a power transmission line for connection of major facilities of Russian space industry

The testing ground is located in the community Novye Liady of the city of Perm.

As part of the technological connection contract, Permenergo (which is a subsidiary of IDGC of Urals OJSC) has built a single-circuit section of the power transmission line 110kV “Traktovaia – Voronovka” about two kilometers long. In the course of the line construction, 10 new metal supports were installed including 5 anchor supports and 5 multi-sided tangent-suspension supports. Also, Perm-Sylva road crossing was built.

As of today, Proton-PM OJSC is about to complete rehabilitation of its substation “Voronovka”.

Implementation of measures mentioned above would allow for extra output of 16 MW for the testing ground facilities that are being constructed as part of the rehabilitation and technical upgrading of the enterprise.

This will also promote successful adaptation by Proton-PM of assemblies and accessories of new-generation engines RD-191 for the Angara family of launch vehicles and other high-technology products, as well as further development of the Technopolis “New Stellar” project. The latter is included to the list of 25 Russian innovative territorial clusters approved by the RF government.
