Turboatom has tested and handed over the runner for shipment for Kanevskaya HPP

The specialists of the enterprise performed check assembly of the equipment in the presence of the customer and carried out functional and oil tests, under the results of which the Act of Acceptance was signed.

The runner and mechanisms of turbine will be packaged and shipped to the power plant after that the contract will be closed in production.

The project of modernization of horizontal bulb hydroturbine with the installation of a new runner and guide vane is realized at Kanevskaya HPP. During the modernization new high-performance Kaplan-type runner with the diameter of 6 m with updated blade system as well as a guide vane equipped with new blades and improved profiling will be installed at HPP. After the reconstruction the capacity of hydrounit will increase from 19.2 MW upto 23 MW, the efficiency will increase by 4%, reliability and service life of the turbine will increase as well.

The scope of obligations of OJSC "Turboatom" also includes supervision of erection and technical manual on commissioning works.

The startup of the unit is scheduled for the 1st quarter of 2014.

Kanevskaya HPP has installed 24 hydroturbines manufactured by OJSC "Turboatom". Today, after the reconstruction 12 turbines are put into operation, 1 is being erected and 1 is being manufactured.
