TATNEFT Improves Factors of the Wells Mean Time between Failures Operation

The total mean time between failures of the wells operation (MTBF) at JSC TATNEFT) amounted to 1,198 days in 2013.
The high level of the wells mean time between failures operation is ensured at the Company by introduction of a lot of innovative technologies, as well as high-quality and timely servicing of the oilfield equipment.
The mean time between failures factor is an estimated figure of the wells operation and the operation of downhole pumping systems. For oilmen growth of MTBF means primarily reduction of the wells' downtime, as well as reduction of servicing costs for maintaining the well stock operational. These measures in turn help saving energy and resources costs.
The work aimed at further increasing the MTBF factor is carried out by TATNEFT's professionals in close collaboration with colleagues from the service management companies.
