The exhibition "Art" of "Turboatom" in the life of Kharkov" will be opened at the gallery "Buzok"

The exposition will include about 100 photos, which reveal the life of the enterprise and also the prototype of million-kilowatt turbine КТ-1070-60/1500, the prototype of hydraulic turbine of Dnestrovskaya PSPP, bench of the last stages blades of steam turbines, models of runners, rotors, hydraulic valves and other turbine equipment.

The President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovich signed the decree No. 54/2014 "On conferring government awards of Ukraine of the employees of the joint-stock company "Turboatom", Kharkov".

According to the decree a number of turbine constructors were conferred government awards.

For significant personal contribution to the development of the domestic engineering, many years' and conscientious work, high professionalism and on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of foundation of the enterprise Deputy General Director on Marketing Aleksandr Burakov and Chief Welder Aleksandr Vavilov were awarded the III Class Order of Merit.

First Deputy Chief Designer of Hydraulic Turbines Viktor Efimenko, Head of Production Sergey Patsiuk, Head of machining and welding workshops (No. 72) Gennadiy Cherkasheninov were awarded the Title of "Honored Mechanical Engineer of Ukraine".

Deputy Head of assembly-testing workshop (No. 73) Nikolai Krasnoshlykov, Deputy Chief Engineer on Technical Preparation of Production Yuriy Pashchenko, Turner of different parts workshop (No. 56) Ivan Chebotar were awarded the Title of "Honored Worker of Industry of Ukraine".

Head of the quality control laboratory of the central laboratory of the plant Luiza Mishchenko was awarded the Title of "Honorary Metrologist of Ukraine".

First Deputy Chief Designer of Steam and Gas Turbines Nikolai Grishin was awarded the Title of "Honored Science and Technology Worker of Ukraine".

Head of the Bureau of the Chief Technologist Department Boris Glushkin was awarded the Title of "Honored Innovator of Ukraine".

On February 6, 2014 at the meeting with the labor collective of OJSC "Turboatom" on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the enterprise Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuriy Boyko presented government awards to turbine constructors.
