Turboatom has tested and put under shipment the guide vane for Kanevskaya HPP (Ukraine)

The specialists of the company in the presence of the customer performed the check assembly of equipment and carried out functional tests, under the results of which the Acceptance certificate was signed. During the test the runaway of blades and abutment of inlet and outlet edges were checked.

Today, the company is working on the manufacture of the runner, testing and delivery to the customer is scheduled for May this year.

The project of the modernization of horizontal bulb hydraulic turbine with the installation of new runner and guide vane is realized at Kanevskaya HPP. After modernization new high-performance Kaplan-type runner with the diameter of 6 m with updated blading will be installed and the guide vane equipped with new blades with improved profile will be installed at the hydraulic power plant as well. After the reconstruction of hydraulic unit the capacity will increase from 19,2 MW to 23 MW, efficiency will increase by 4%, the reliability and service life of the turbine will increase as well.

The volume of obligations of "Turboatom" also includes supervision installation and start-up technical management.

24 hydraulic turbines manufactured by OJSC "Turboatom" are installed at Kanevskaya HPP. Today, after the reconstruction 12 turbines are commissioned, 1 is in production, 1 -  in the installation.
