Razrez Nazarovsky (Nazarovo Open-Pit Colliery) Sets a New Record in Overburden Stripping

Instead of the targeted 360K m3 the miners have moved 564K m3 of overburden to a spoil heap.

The previous record was set up by the same crew back in October 2013. Then, the miners exceeded the month quotas by 31% by removing 526K m3 of spoil.

At the time, the result achieved by operating excavators of the type was the colliery's historic high.
