Turboatom and Siemens plan to sign a cooperation agreement

The possibility of joint supply for nuclear power plant was discussed by the parties during 2013 and 2014 in Mulheim and Kharkov.

It is supposed that "Turboatom" will supply the turbine with the capacity of 1250 MW at 1500 rpm, «Siemens» - generator. Its technical presentations of the company were held for OJSC "NIAEP" (Nizhny Novgorod, Russia) in 2014.

Currently, «Siemens» is considering an opportunity of joint bidding with "Turboatom" for the supply of equipment of turbine hall for the construction of Kurskaya NPP-2 according to the project WWER-TOI.
