The Russian party was represented by the Head of oil, gas and condensate production department of JSC Gazprom Vsevolod Cherepanov, the Managing Director of Gazprom International Valeriy Gulev, heads of regional offices of Gazprom International, and experts of both companies.
Joe Rainey, President of Halliburton’s Eastern Hemisphere business; Brady Murphy, Senior Vice President for Business Development and Marketing; and other managers from various departments represented Halliburton at the meeting.
“We were honored to host Mr. Cherepanov and Mr. Gulev along with their respective leadership teams to discuss the expanded collaboration between our organizations,” said Rainey. “The productive meetings will enable us to continue delivering exceptional solutions to JSC Gazprom and Gazprom International projects within the Russian Federation and globally.”
Describing the strategy of Halliburton, Murphy mentioned that among traditional oil and gas field services, his company now is focusing on three main areas of solutions provided: deepwater operations, extraction of unconventional resources as well as the development of mature fields. According to Murphy, these three areas will be the focus of future world oil and gas resource production.
Paul Koeller, Halliburton Vice President for Consulting and Project Management, made a report on the forms of cooperation between Halliburton and operating companies. He stressed that Halliburton’s services are not limited to field operations, but include full-scale project management as well as integrated asset and risk management.
Halliburton Principal Program Manager Marina Matselinskaya delivered a number of technical presentations regarding the services that Halliburton operates at Gazprom International projects.
