Naftogaz reiterated its position regarding outstanding issues with Gazprom

Andriy Kobolyev, CEO of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, and Alexei Miller, CEO of OJSC Gazprom, held a meeting in Amsterdam today. Naftogaz’ executive reiterated the company’s offer to settle outstanding issues with Gazprom.

Naftogaz undertakes to conduct timely payments for gas imported from Russia provided that the gas price remains stable at the level of 1Q 2014 ($268.5/tcm). Naftogaz considers the 80%+ price hike ungrounded and unacceptable.
