Turboatom has completed manufacturing the hydraulic equipment for Novosibirskaya HPP

In May 2014, the company's specialists shipped the last 10 locations of equipment. The mechanisms of turbine, oil receiver, spare parts and accessories were shipped to the station. The Contract is terminated in the production.

Today the installation of hydraulic unit is performed in the presence of OJSC "Turboatom" at Novosibirskaya HPP. At present, the runner chamber is already assembled, guide vane is being erected, then runner and other units of hydroturbine will be assembled.

OJSC "Turboatom" performs the modernization of six PL-20-V-800 Kaplan type hydraulic turbines replacing the runner with a diameter of 8 m for Novosibirskaya HPP. The company will also supply embedded parts, mechanisms of turbines including guide vanes, turbines shafts, bearings, seals and other items.

The modernization is executed in two stages. The first stage is to supply and install the turbine without replacing the generator, resulting from it, the capacity of the unit will increase from 58,6 to 72 MW. At the second stage after the reconstruction of generator designed capacity of the turbine will increase up to 82 MW.

Novosibirskaaya HPP have been installing seven hydroturbines manufactured by OJSC "Turboatom" since 1956, designed capacity of each turbine is 58,6 MW.

Currently, one turbine is modernized and is being commissioned, one is being erected, one is being manufactured with the shipment in 2014.
