New Rimera Solutions Pass Quality Tests at Rosneft and Tomskneft Fields

The experimental products include two corrosion- and wear-resistant pumps with a special assembly design: with a thrust bearing of the shaft and with a non-thrust bearing that is located inside the piston rod protector. Besides the pumps, acceptance tests were completed successfully on two energy-efficient submersible electric pumps with increased voltage, rated for 32 kW and 45 kW, belonging to 117 mm dimension group.
The new pumps tested in Purneftegaz wells demonstrate enhanced head and energy parameters with an efficiency factor that is 4-5% greater compared to serially-manufactured equivalents, making it possible to reduce electricity costs during production, thereby increasing the efficiency of the production process.
Motors with increased voltage also demonstrated high efficiency. During the operation of the tested electric motors rated for 32 kW and 45 kW in wells of Tomskneft, we recorded a reduction in electricity consumption by 28% and 17%, respectively. The energy-efficiency component of these motors involves using a higher supply voltage, which reduces the operating current by 2 to 2.5 times.
