Dobrotvorskaya TPP includes the turbine in the network

There were carried out installation works with the participation of the chief engineers and specialists of the enterprise and on May 17, 2014 when completing all installation works and pre-commissioning there were performed start-up of the unit and conducted all tests stipulated by the rules. At the moment, pre-commissioning and mastering the capacity is being continued at the unit.

Under the contract signed in October 2012, OJSC "Turboatom" performed the modernization of K-160-130 steam turbine with the reconstruction of the flow path of high and intermediate-pressure cylinders (HIPC), regulatory system, the first support as well as the installation of new low-pressure cylinder (LPC) at the unit No. 8 for Dobrotvorskaya TPP.

After the modernization the capacity of the turbine unit will reach 160 MW by increasing the efficiency of LPC up to 85,5%. In addition, the reliability and efficiency of the turbine are expected to increase and environmental indicators of power unit are likely to improve.

The supply of the equipment was completed in November 2013.

In addition to design work, manufacture and supply of the equipment, "Turboatom" provided installation supervision, participation in pre-commissioning and commissioning the equipment.

Two K-160-130 steam turbines for Dobrotvorskaya TPP were supplied by "Turboatom", which were commissioned in 1963 and 1964.
