JSC Russian Grids holds a round-table discussion at SPIEF 2014 to address the integration of global energy grids

The discussion is expected to be attended by Alexander Novak, Russian Minister of Energy; Oleg Budargin, General Director of JSC Russian Grids; Dr. Christoph Frei, Secretary General of the World Energy Council; Taner Yildiz, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey; Jørgen Kildahl, Member of E.ON SE Management Board for Russia; Sergey Kirienko, General Director of Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation; and Hubertus von Grünberg, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ABB Group.

Russian Grids’ round table is an annual SPIEF event. Traditionally, it covers the most topical issues that the electric energy sector is currently facing. This year, the participants will address the key issues of globalization of energy grids, development of new energy technologies, impact of new challenges on electric energy infrastructure development, and will also consider the prospects of transition to a new level of global relations and safety of energy grids.
