It relates to one of the most possible methods for development and industrial implantation at the Belarusian fields in the coming years. The goal is to increase the efficiency of the production of residual hard-to-recover oil reserves.
For the first time the opportunity to create the type of the thermal gas treatment technology (for carbonate rocks of the Pripyat downfold) was documented on October 6, 2011, when Belorusneft and Russian Zarubezhneft JSC concluded a strategic partnership contract. The structures of Zarubezhneft – VNIIneft JSC and famous Russian interbranch scientific and technical complex Nefteotdacha also joined the project. Initially, the Belarusian and Russian specialists were going not just to create new technology and test it in Belarus, but transfer positive experience to other oil regions of the world. The plans also presuppose the formation and promotion of joint intellectual property for this and similar developments, rendering of engineering and consulting services, conduct of research, design and calculation and analytic works.
The special focus of the parties on the project “Visha-Thermogas” is emphasized by weekly inspections of the site of the forthcoming tests by the specialists of Belorusneft, as well as the continuous work of the representatives of Zarubezhneft in the republic.
Currently, the issues of the training of the operators in work at the well are being resolved, technical regulations on the conduct of geological and engineering operations at air injection wells. Development of the site at the Vishanskoe field is being carried out. It is planned to deliver there a compressor station from Russia in the nearest future. The specialists of Zarubezhneft will also participate in its acceptance, mounting and operation. Later on, at well No. 134 Vishanskaya the formation of coiling, mounting of the equipment, required for the conduct of the test of the technology of the thermal gas method of oil recovery enhancement will be started.
