Turboatom has manufactured the second condenser case for Balakovskaya NPP

The equipment was assembled and handed over to the customer, therefore it will be packed and shipped to the station.

The third case without cooling tubes is at the stage of the check assembly. Then tubes tapping, their beading and seal welding will be performed; thereafter a final check assembly and delivery to the customer will be carried out. The order is intended to be completed in July of the current year.

"Turboatom" performs for Balakovskaya NPP the replacement of a turbine condenser with the capacity of 1000 MW, tube modular type condenser systems are made of using titanium cooling pipes and outer pipe boards cladding with titanium.

Resulting from the performed works, a turbine capacity is expected to increase by more than 5 MW, the service life is likely to extend and its reliability and safety are expected to increase.
