On June 20, 2014 Russian commission, which took part in the control assembly of low pressure cylinder (LPC-1) visited OJSC "Turboatom". According to test results parties signed a protocol that all parameters meet the standards.
According to a customer's representative Sergei Lysechko a quality of the equipment meets the standard documentation of the nuclear industry, as well as the requirements of the drawings. "I was pleasantly impressed by the plant; I was pleased with the work. As for the equipment, I would put a mark "good" to the production," - he said.
Low-speed turbine manufactured by "Turboatom" is worked constructively and technologically, this is evidenced by reliable and highly efficient work of 18 turbines with the capacity of 1100 MW, that are located in Ukraine, Russia and Bulgaria.
Deputy Head of the assembly and test workshop No. 73 Nikolay Krasnoshlykov said: "A full assembly of LPC-1 with passports of gaps was presented to the customers, a low-pressure rotor and the other units are prepared for shipment." Nicholas Krasnoshlykov also said that "Turboatom" delivers the equipment ahead of schedule.
For the unit No. 4 of Rostovskaya NPP in 2014 it is also planned to deliver a block-modular condenser with tube systems made of titanium alloy, a high-pressure cylinder, and a system of regulation and steam distribution, an oil supply system.
Rostovskaya NPP has two power units with turbines with the capacity of 1,000 MW, made by "Turboatom": unit No. 1 was put into operation in 2001, unit No. 2 - in 2010.
