The Memorandum determines basis for interaction of parties and further joint projects in science and education as well as potential business plans. The Memorandum was signed in furtherance of cooperation between Rosatom and FIUBA started last year with the competition of monographs among senior students and postgraduates dedicated to peaceful applications of nuclear technologies.
“Signing of the Memorandum is a next step for our cooperation. I have no doubts in benefits that Argentina receives from leading positions of Russian nuclear industry headed by Rosatom. Everything that is related to technological development leads to improvement in leaving standards for people of the country”, said professor Gerardo Quintana, designated representative of FIUBA.
Signing ceremony was held in National Research Nuclear University MEPhI as part of visiting program of Argentinian delegation. Along with the winners of aforementioned competition delegation included experts from FIUBA, members of Nuclear Regulatory Authority (ARN), representatives of Nucleoeléctrica Argentina SA, experts from Balseiro Institute and leading mass media of Argentina.
