The turbine shaft will be machined in accordance with the technical documentation. Work will be performed in the assembly and test shop No. 73 on the machine "Hoesch".
It is planned to ship the equipment in 2014.
According to chief designer of hydro turbines Alexander Linnik, "Turboatom" will assist in the maintenance and repairing of the first two units, which are currently in the works, as well as supply spare parts for them, provide technical support of repair and supervision of the equipment of the third turbine. "In addition, - said Alexander Linnik – it is planned that "Turboatom" will participate in supervision during installation of the equipment of the subsequent hydraulic machines."
In 1980's 6 hydraulic units produced by LMZ were supplied on Tashlykskaya PSPP. Rated power of each hydro turbine in the turbining is 150.5 MW, and the maximum capacity in the pumping mode - 207.2 MW. Diameter of runner is 6.3 m. Design head in turbining is 70.5 m, in the pumping - 82.7 m.
Currently, there are two turbines in operation, and the third is in the erection stage.
Tashlykskaya Pumped Storage Power Plant is located in town Yuzhnoukrainsk (Nikolaevskaya region, Ukraine), on reservoir Tashlykskoye and is a part of the South-Ukrainian power sector. At this time, the project includes the installation of six units of 150/225 MW with a total capacity of 900 MW in turbining and 1,325 MW - in the pumping. The first hydraulic unit of Tashlykskaya PSPP was started on September 14, 2006 in a pumping (motor) mode and a gradual filling of the reservoir of PSPP began, and on October 16, 2006 it was started in a generator (turbine) mode. The second hydraulic unit of Tashlykskaya PSPP was started on July 21, 2007 in the generator (turbine) mode, and on July 24 - in the motor (pumping mode). On June 14, 2012, Tashlykskaya PSPP generateded the first billion kilowatt-hours from the beginning of the generation.
