With the participation of the engineering supervisors and specialists of the enterprise the erection, pre-commissioning and low power testing were carried on a power unit. After that, the turbine and unit in whole were prepared to bear the load, and from 15 to 18 June 2014 turbo unit worked 72 hours under load, provided that all the parameters of the turbine met regulatory requirements. As a result, a technical act of completion of integrated testing of the turbine unit was signed; the turbine was put into operation.
According to the contract signed in October 2012, on the block No. 8 of Dobrotvorskaya TPP "Turboatom" completed modernization of the steam turbine K-160-130 with the reconstruction of the setting of cylinders of high and intermediate pressure (HIPC), the regulatory system, the first support, as well as the installation of new low-pressure cylinder (LPC).
After modernization the capacity of the turbine unit will reach 160 MW by increasing the efficiency of LPC to 85.5%. In addition, the reliability and operational economy of the turbine will increase and the environmental performance of the power unit will improve.
Delivery of the equipment was completed in November 2013.
In addition to design work, manufacturing and supply of the equipment, "Turboatom" carried out supervision, participation in pre-commissioning and commissioning of the equipment.
On Dobrotvorskaya TPP "Turboatom" supplied two steam turbines K-160-130, which were commissioned in 1963 and 1964.
