Sergey Menshikov, Director General of Gazprom Dobycha Nadym congratulated the attending children on the holiday and declared the new season in the Ecopark open.
The Wall of Art, a new art object was added to the exhibit within Gazprom’s Year of Environmental Awareness. There everyone can express through drawing their vision of what it means to love nature.
The young citizens of Nadym invited to the opening ceremony of the new season in the Ecopark became the first authors of drawings on the Wall. First of all, artist Sergey Krysin taught a master-class on choosing the subject of a drawing and on peculiarities of drawing on different surfaces. After that the children started putting the gained knowledge to use. The drawings of flowers, trees, animals, helicopters and production facilities of Gazprom Dobycha Nadym covered the Wall of Art.
“I drew a chum, a reindeer and the world divided into two halves. The first half is Gazprom’s field facilities, the second one is nature, and in the middle there is interaction between them,” told us one of the event participants.
In the end every little artist received a souvenir from the company, and the authors of the three best drawings were presented with real binoculars to let them see the world in a different light.
As Sergey Menshikov noted, “the environmental issues have always been the company’s priority and developing the environmental awareness of the younger generation is contributing to our future.”
