As the Chief Engineer Grigoriy Ishchenko noted, the organizing document in this plan is the General Director’s order No. 23 as of April 2, 2014. The activities include preparation for work of power communication lines and equipment, buildings and constructions, transport, technical engineering department, storage facilities, objects of the social sphere during the autumn and winter period.
This year the corresponding services of OJSC "Turboatom" are intended to carry out a number of serious modernizations and repairs. According to the Chief Engineer, the plans are quite extensive: "At the moment, we are planning to reconstruct and repair heating system pipelines and heat supply lines. Besides, the list of planned actions includes replacement of pipelines of industrial and drinking water, as well as restoration of the heat supply lines in the assembly-testing workshop No. 73 including overhauling of two heat curtains on the entrance gate and restoration of heat units for heating zones of Skoda 200 and Hash 3200 machines".
According to the approved actions, the machining and welding production workshop No. 72 will execute autonomous heating of the modernized planer-type milling machine 6640. The installation of two systems with electric heaters is planned, oil-pumping stations and moving elements of the machine will be heated due to forcing warm air by fans to the lower zone of the machine.
The forge and heat-treatment workshop No. 63 will restore two air curtains of gate of the forged and thermal case and also replace two old ones not subject to repair of the circulation heating pumps that will give economy of energy resources.
According to the Deputy Chief Power Engineer Aleksandr Volosnik of the inspection of Public Utility Company "Kharkov Heat Networks", hydraulic tests of the heating system of the first production site are performed. The heating systems of the third and fourth sites are about to be carried out.
The welded structures workshop No. 60 performs works on restoration of the heating plant P-5 and replacements of old cast-iron radiators with more up-to-date ones.
Aleksandr Volosnik pointed out that the main complexity when preparing is kilometers of engineering communication lines at the enterprise. "The pipelines of heat networks, drinking and industrial water, household and storm sewerage, compressed air, carbon dioxide, oxygen and natural gas are laid in the territory of the enterprise. Every year we change certain areas of communication lines as a great number of pipelines is out-of-date. We try to support everything in a working condition by performing annual repairs", - A. Volosnik noted. "There is also a question about equipment. Now, within the framework of the preparation for autumn and winter season in 2014-2015, we gradually change outdated equipment. For example, we change the Soviet out-of-date circulation pumps consumed about 90 kW for modern ones with power consumption of 75 kW".
"All works on preparing of the enterprise for autumn and winter period will be completed by October 1, 2014, then the General Director will approve the enterprise passport of preparing for the winter", Grigoriy Ishchenko pointed out.
