The new equipment continues to run without incident to reach an ever higher mean time between failures (MTBF) in a difficult well with mechanical impurities.
The 0615 series pumps are part of a new high efficiency pump line of Alnas. They fully meet all the latest requirements of oil companies for oil production pumps. The specific design features of this pump series compared to serially manufactured equivalents ensure higher reliability and longer service life in difficult wells in which the wellstream contains mechanical impurities.
“The new compression-design pump 0615UETsNAKI5А-250М1 has increased the mean time between failures in the well of the Yuskinskoye Field of Belkamneft by more than 4 times. While previously six pumps would go out of order in this well each year, our pump has passed the acceptance target of 120 days. Its current MTBF is already 214 days, and the pump keeps running without incident. The reduction in the number of tripping operations required for equipment repairs helps to achieve oil production cost savings. Based on the pilot test results, Belkamneft plans to consider using this type of pumps in wells that currently require frequent repairs,” says Rimera Group R&D Center Director Sergei Sibiriov.
