Gas stations in Gomel region now offer electric scooter rental

A new service is offered by Belorusneft-Gomeloblnefteproduct. Initially, the novel vehicle was offered for rental only at two gas stations – in Gomel and Mozyr. The fee for one hour is 50,000 roubles.

The total fee depends on the actual time of rental. The gas stations offer scooters produced by Minsk Motovelo OJSC. This home-made vehicle is able to produce velocity of 25 km/h and its battery can be charged full during 4 – 6 hours. One full charge provides energy for a 50 km ride.

At the moment, specialists from by-products department of Belorusneft-Gomeloblnefteproduct are implementing the new service as experimental and studying the demand. Provided positive demand would be determined, the enterprise will offer electric scooter rental at other gas stations in Gomel region.
