FGC UES RDC and Alstom Grid have signed a cooperation agreement which is aimed at the long-term exchange of scientific and technical information, production process advancement and introduction of innovative equipment at the facilities of the Federal Grid Company with mandatory optimization of both technical and economic performance.
The document was signed at the 45th edition of CIGRE session held in Paris where representatives of FGC UES, FGC UES RDC and Alstom took part.
The parties have also agreed to establish an R&D center which would be responsible for optimization of electrical grids functioning, development of element base and automated control system technologies. Besides, under this agreement, FGC UES RDC and Alstom Grid will organize joint research and practice seminars and professional consultations by experts, visit project and production facilities of the companies.
Alstom Grid has been cooperating with FGC UES from 2010. For the last four years, the total cost of electrical products supplied by Alstom to FGC UES facilities amounted to more than 8.3 bln rubles.
