Alexander Merten appointed as President of JSC “Rusatom International Network”

Before assignment A. Merten worked for JSC “Rusatom International Network” as Senior Vice President - Regional Vice President (Central and Eastern Europe). He was Vice President in JSC «Rusatom Overseas» being responsible for representing interests of ROSATOM in Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Moldova. Also he worked as director of Eastern - European branch, OJSC «Atomenergoprom».

«It is very important task for our company to organize effective system of  ROSATOM global presence for promotion of production and services of its divisions and build partnership with foreign companies. One of our goals is to reduce sector costs in external economic activity», - said A.Merten.

Regional representative offices of ROSATOM have already been set up in Prague (Czech Republic, area of responsibility - Central Europe), Kiev (Ukraine, area of responsibility - Eastern Europe),  Singapore (Singapore, area of responsibility - South East Asia) and Johannesburg (Republic of South Africa, area of responsibility - Central and Southern Africa). It is planned that offices will be opened in all regional economic centers: in the Middle East, Asia, the Americas, Western Europe.
