FRUNZE presented its capabilities in Europe

They discussed the issue of energy security of European Union, the ways and means to achieve it. PJSC “Sumy Frunze NPO” represented Ukrainian manufacturers that are ready to participate in the implementation of tasks.

The forum participants unanimously stated that at present the issue of energy security is the most important, and all EU countries are ready to qualitative transformations in this field. In particular, within the event the need to create an energy alliance and concentrate overall efforts to increase the competitiveness of the EU in this sector was announced.

The top-managers of leading corporations of Germany, Poland and other EU member states were invited for the discussion on this issue. In addition, Aleksey Tsymbal, the General Director of Sumy Frunze Plant, on behalf of the Ukrainian machine builders issued the proposals for the development and strengthening of energy policy of the European Union.

In his report, he noted that in the context of the discussed issues very important task was reliable and stable operation of the Ukrainian gas transportation system, which supplied a quarter of the natural gas that had been consumed by European countries . "Future prospects of the domestic gas transportation system will depend on the subsequent political decisions regarding its legal status and usage model. Besides, the gas transportation network must comply with the requirements of regulatory and legal framework of the EU in the energy sector, which will require some investment. We can increase the efficiency, safety and environmental performance of the GTS combining the industrial potential of Ukraine with experience and advanced technology of European producers, "- General Director of Sumy Frunze Plant said.

In this case, Aleksey Tsymbal assured that the products of a number of leading Ukrainian enterprises integrated into complete solutions of the Company was able to meet the requirements of the European Union in this field.

"In the context of energy security of Europe, Ukraine can be considered not only as a transporter of energy, but also as an object for the implementation of local and the EU industrial capacity", - the General Director of Sumy Frunze Plant emphasized.

During his stay in Poland some meetings to establish cooperation between FRUNZE brand and European consumers were also held.

In particular, the possible points of contact have been studied in an interview with the ex-Commissioner for EU Enterprises and Industry Mr. Günter Feykhoygen who appreciated the possibility of Ukrainian companies, including PJSC “Sumy Frunze NPO”, to come into the Polish market and the European Union as a whole.

One of the biggest companies in Central Europe - oil company LOTOS Oil SA (Poland), which carries out oil production and refining, and distribution of high-quality petroleum products is ready to make steps for rapprochement with the Sumy machine engineers. Mr. Pavel Olekhnovich, the Chairman of the Company Board, assured that he had positive attitude to cooperation and would assist in the promotion of PJSC “Sumy Frunze NPO” at the EU oil and gas market.

This meeting will have its continuation in the foreseeable future. According to the preliminary agreements, the top-managers of the concern will visit Sumy, and the specialists of Sumy Frunze Plant will go to oil and gas facilities of LOTOS Oil S.A. in Poland to study potential directions and volume of cooperation.
