The awarding ceremony took place within the framework of a session of the Trilateral Commission for Regulation of Social and Labour Relations in the Republic of Buryatia.
The Competition “Russian Organization of High Social Efficiency” has been held in Buryatia for five years. The Trilateral Commission for Regulation of Social and Labour Relations in the Republic of Buryatia, the Trade Unions Association of Buryatia and the local Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs select and evaluate the best enterprises. The main requirement is adequacy to priority targets of social policy in Russia, i.e. developing the labour market and facilitating employment, fostering labour and personal potential of employees and creating conditions for a healthy lifestyle.
“JSC Khiagda is a developing enterprise, therefore, we need to forecast creation of new jobs, taking into account application of new technologies and launch of new capacities, as well as to implement training, retraining and skill development programmes. Herewith, all costs associated with training are borne by the enterprise. Moreover, ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. has elaborated and introduced a dedicated mentoring programme, which enables young professionals to better and more efficiently adjust to new targets under the guidance of more experienced colleagues. The main lines of our social activity include provision of housing to our employees and voluntary medical insurance,” said Bella Mikhailovskaya, Head of HR Department, JSC Khiagda.
Construction of a new workers’ camp is considered to be one of the most significant achievements of social and HR policy pursued by the enterprise during the recent years. Personnel of JSC Khiagda live in comfortable double rooms equipped with all necessary facilities. Besides the living quarters, there is a canteen and a laundry in the settlement. In their spare time, rotation workers can go in for sports or even visit concerts of musical or folk ensembles.
