The works were conducted under the supervision of VIS Automation, VIS CG specialists together with the operating personnel of NUGCC. The experts found the test successful.
A month earlier had been successfully completed test start-up of turbine No. 1. While testing the turbine No.2 no deviations from project’s parameters were recorded, the equipment worked normally.
Turbines’ launching is one of the most important stages of GTPP’s construction. Reliability and operating safety of the equipment depends on the test performance. Gas turbine power plant is an energy core of the complex, designed to provide it with uninterrupted supply of the required electric energy. Total capacity of the GTPP will be up to 120 MW.
The power station is to be commissioned this year. The project is unique in many respects as it is realized on lands with permafrost, under the climatic conditions of extreme cold and serious water scarcity.
